Pink and green 50s inspired

This bouquet was made out of a mixture of different kinds of English Garden spray roses, ranunculus and hydrangea. This picture was taken on the couples get-away car, it had a fuchsia stripe down the side - I love the way the bouquet looks on the car!!!

This couple had their wedding in the brides parents back yard, they rented a tent that had fabric draping off of it and a beautiful chandelier hanging down the center.

When ever there is a pool involved in a backyard wedding the question is "how do we address such a large space of water?" Well one option is to float flower balls in it! These 13in balls are covered in asters and are pinned individually to Styrofoam balls.

The large floating monograms were individually cut of styrofoam to make the exact sizes needed. They were covered with asters and button mums and strung together with fishing wire to help keep them together. Fishing wire was also attached to the underneath size with a weight attached to it to keep the monograms from floating away.

The continued the monogram theme onto the cupcakes, napkins and party favors!

Candy Themed Party

This candy themed party was on the Queen Mary of Long Beach. Centerpieces we 3ft tall filled with water that was dyed blue to match with the candy colors along with an underwater light that sat at the bottom of the vase. All the arrangements included candy mixed in with the flowers.

Under the tuscan sun!

These were from a Fundraiser for Lauras House Nonprofit Organization hosted at/by Giracci Vineyards.

This is one if the centerpieces done for the fundraiser. We used different props and vases to go with the tuscan theme and used sunflowers as requested by Giracci Vineyards. Flowers used: sunflowers, straw flower, ranunculus, hanging amaranthus, roses.

A fun way to add character to your centerpieces is by adding props, in this one I used an old fashion suitcase to raise up the arrangement and had the amaranthus hanging down off of it.

Since this was hosted at a winery we included corks into the arrangement. It is almost like the corks are growing out of the flowers!

Instead of using moss at the base of these stems using corks worked great and fit into our theme!

Another fun element we came up with was to use sunflower seeds in the glass containers. I mean why not!!! It was so fun and everyone enjoyed the added details!

Adding some loose flowers to float in the fountain really drew your eye to it and made it come alive.

10 of these we made and given those who participated in the raffles they had going on at this fundraiser. All proceeds went to Lauras House.

This is a picture of Giracci Vineyards where the event was hosted. This is typically where a wedding ceremony would take place, it is such a lovely venue!!!

White Wedding Flowers

Looking for the perfect white bouquet? Try using a mixture of white florals! This bouquet features hydrangea, freeshia, Gerberas, Roses, Rice flower and peonies. The peonies used in this bouquet are very tightly closed. The peonie when open is a large fluffy flower which would not have worked in a tightly done bouquet like this one, so we used the flower before it started to bloom to add a special element to the bouquets design!

Crystals were added to the roses and were used down the stems to attach some white ribbon. The crystals were carried over to the aisle arrangements and were dangling down the center of the 36in trumpet vases. Two taller arrangements were place on the stage with tall white branches coming out of them to frame out the new couple!

The bride wanted her bridesmaids to cary Gerberas so to make sure there petals did not get squished I added white roses to space them out and make it more elegant since gerberas are a more playful flower. The brides bouquet included a few of these flowers but were with white centers, since the bridesmaids were wearing black I used the Gerberas with dark centers. This brought some interest to their bouquets and also made the brides bouquet more special since it was the only bouquet that was pure white!

Just a note - when placing orders for Gerberas with dark centers know that the centers are not actually black but a dark brown. For this wedding I hand painted all the dark brown centers black to give it the polished look the bride wanted.

Want to know what to give your adorable flower girl? When working with young girls that can be.... well lets say unpredictable, it is hard to count on them to evenly toss petals down the aisle and seeing as most churches do not allow for petals it isnt even an option(since they typically do not allow them)So how about a kissing ball and a wreath. This gives your flower girl something fun to hold and is a fun added element to your wedding! Kissing ball is made up of Gerberas and head wreath is rice flower with mini pompoms.
